Buffalo State University appreciates the important role that parents/guardians play in the life of their student. The Continual Support Program encourages parent/guardians to communicate directly with their student regarding their academics, involvement in Continual Support and other academic and social aspects regarding their experience at Buffalo State University.

The Continual Support Program understands there may be instances where communication directly with parents/guardians would be beneficial to the student's success. Given privacy regulations, any discussions should be initiated by the student and must always include the student. If a parent/guardian shares a concern with the Continual Support Team, they will follow up directly with the student to ensure necessary supports regarding that concern are being addressed appropriately.
