All requests for disability-related accommodation must be made by the student who is requesting the accommodation and must go through Student Accessibility Services (SAS).
Your Letters of Accommodation are being prepared for you and will be sent to your Buffalo State email address automatically if you are registered for classes for the semester. Letters will be sent starting the week before and continuing through the first week of the semester for the fall and spring semesters. Letters will come from SAS@buffalostate.edu.
It will be your responsibility to forward your Letters of Accommodation to your Instructors. Please remember that Letters of Accommodation not provided to Instructors may delay access to accommodations and that accommodations are not retroactive.
If you have NOT received your Letter of Accommodation by the end of the first week of the semester please complete the Request Your Letters of Accommodation form so that SAS may ready and email your letter to you.
Letters will not state any specifics regarding the nature of the disability and only serve to advise faculty of the accommodations a student is entitled to.
