Program date: June 13th, 2020 from 9am to 3pm
The Access BSC - Bridge to Success in College program was a three year program that was held on the Buffalo State campus from 2017 through 2019. This summer we are Closing the Gap!
We invite all past and new participants to attend this one day event.
Experience a mock college class taught by a college instructor.
Participate in interactive workshops to work on mindset, personal responsibility, goal setting, and other important traits!
Receive a copy of Steven Covey's "Seven Habits for Highly Effective Teens".
Enter in a drawing for two Chromebook giveaways for past participants.
Enter in a drawing for two Livescribe Echo pen givaways for new participants!
Complete the registration form to be part of this wonderful event!
Students must be at least a sophomore in high school.
Parent or Guardian permission is required if you are under 18.
All parents will receive a copy of "Effective College Planning," and will have an opportunity to speak with college professionals about the transition to college and disability.
Learn about vocational rehabilitation services.
All forms are due at Buffalo State College, Student Accessibility Services by May 22nd, 2020.
Applicants must identify as having a "learning difference".
Registration is open to all students who will be juniors, seniors, or entering their first year of college in the Fall of 2020.
