9:00am-3:00pm at Buffalo State College

 

What is Access BSC:  A summer transition to college program for high school students with learning differences.  

Students will learn:

  • Self-advocacy skills
  • Obtaining disability accommodations in college
  • Time management and note taking skills
  • Utilizing Assistive Technologies 

Who Should Apply?

  • Students must be at least a sophomore in high school.
  • Parent or Guardian permission required.
  • Student should be considering college as a post secondary option. This program would not be appropriate for students looking solely for vocational and life skill information.  
  • This program is only open students with learning differences.
  • All parents will receive "Effective College Planning," and will have an opportunity to speak with college professionals about the transition to college and disability.
